The high content of PC lipids in Essential PC can provide a significant amount of cell membrane building PC. Essential PC is more highly purified than other commodity brands of triple strength lecithin; the most commonly used source of Phosphatidylcholine. And, as it relates to efficacy the higher the PC content the better. More active PC means there are fewer “less essential” phospholipids such as PE, PI, and PA around to compete for absorption, and this directly enhances the bio-availability of Essential PC where it counts…at the cell membrane!
Essential PC should be included in every wellness program and is absolutely the best alternative to PhosChol in otherwise healthy individuals. Essential PC is an all around aid to good health and an integral component to any age management protocol.
Essential PC should not be compared to PhosChol. For over 30 years, PhosChol remains the Gold Standard for Purified PPC and is the only product on the market capable of delivering therapeutic quantities of 1,2 DLPC.
What is Essential PC Lipids (EPCL)?
Essential PC Lipids is 40 percent purified phosphatidylcholine (PC). It is an excellent source of the active ingredient PC . It is a PC complex containing other phospholpids and highly unsaturated fatty acids.
Essential PC Lipid Profile:
– Phosphatidylcholine 40%
– Phosphatidylethanolamine 16%
– Phosphatidylinositol 11%
– Phosphatidyleserine 1%
– Phytoglycolipids 13%
– Other Phosphatides, lipids 14%
The primary active ingredient PC at 40% is considered the “major” and most important phospholipid responsible for influences in membrane dependent cellular functions, fluidity, regeneration and repair, among others.
Essential PC Lipids can provide a significant amount of cell membrane building PC. Our PC Lipids are more highly purified than other commodity brands of triple strength lecithin; the most commonly used source of marketable phosphatidylcholine.
PC – An essential building block for life
Phosphatidylcholine (PC) is vital cell-exchange nourishment to help keep membranes in shape. PC is the essential phospholipid (fatty acid) comprising the double-layer of the cell’s hydrophobic (water-repellent) layer.
The cell membrane is comprised of a hydrophobic double-layer of cells, surrounded by a hydrophilic (water-friendly) layer on top and bottom. This is called a phospholipid bi-layer, making the cell generally impermeable to water-soluble molecules, except in select receptor areas of the membrane.
As it relates to efficacy, the higher the PC content the better. More active PC means there are fewer “minor” phospholipids present to compete for absorption, and this directly enhances the bio-availability of Essential PC where it counts…at the cell membrane!
PC is most notably associated with improvements in cell membrane repair and regeneration, membrane metabolism, mitochondria function, liver function, neurological process and mental performance, lipid metabolism and fat embolism, dyslipidemia and atherosclerosis, kidney function, and gastrointenstinal inflammation.
